Welcome To Tub Creek Farms
Tub Creek Farms
Welcome to our website! Tub Creek Farms is the home of Mike & Bonnie Robbins, and our sons, Scott and Andy. We've lived on our farm since 1983. In the early 1990's we began raising emus. At one time, we had over 50 of the large, flightless birds on our property. But, when the ratite market didn't take off as we had hoped, and our boys became more and more involved in 4H, we reduced the number of emus and added goats.
Our farm is currently home to three registered dairy goat herds: Tub Creek Toggenburgs (my passion!), Robbins Ridge Alpines (Scott's herd) and APR Acres Purebred Nubians (Andy's herd). We also have a small herd of percentage boer goats (we jokingly refer to them as Mike's herd!) that are rasied for 4H and meat market.

The boer does kidded in mid-December and we had 12 healthy, beautiful kids. All are growing and doing well. They will be weaned mid-February. We have 6 wethers that will be available for sale (good 4H or meat prospects) and 1 or 2 doe kids (we are keeping 1 doe & another has already been spoken for). All are at least 75% boer and are big kids.
The dairy does start mid-February. We will have Togg, Alpine & Nubian kids for sale, both does and wethers, as well as some milkers.
Right now we have a dry yearling Alpine and a dry yearling recorded grade (88% Togg) for sale. Both are nice does, raised on CAE prevention and would make nice 4H does and good prospects for breeding this fall.
If you are interested in goat milk shares, be sure to contact us early. We are freshing 15 does, but I plan to only keep 8-9 milkers at the most this summer.
We'll be posting more updates as the kidding season starts.
TC Beads
In addition to the goats, my other hobby is making beaded jewelry. Nothing fancy, yet, but if you are interested in any of the pieces, contact me. All pieces are custom made and I pride myself on not making any two pieces alike. Each piece will be different in some way-different size beads, color of beads, chain, etc.
I have general information on the TC Beads page. Also, finished pieces are on the sale pages.
Need a custom piece of jewelry? Drop me a line and let's work to make it special!
